What Do Pokemon Go Woes and Colorado Auto Accidents Share in Common?

The reason is simple: smartphones may have permanent access to mobile data but it would quickly eat into one's plan if the device was permanently checking for mail and on other apps. So both Android and iOS devices set up a minimum interval of 15 minutes before they update. Any time in between that and users putting themselves at risk for Colorado car accidents because they have to refresh their device for texts, social media updates or Pokemon Go info.

Unfortunately, outside of accidents, there are few disincentives for keeping one's eyes off the road. Drivers under the age of 18 face a $50 fine for first-time offenses of any cell phone usage and $100 thereafter. Adults face similar fines but only for texting.
