Conifer, CO (August 7, 2019) - One person was killed and three others seriously injured in a fatal car accident that closed both sides of US 285 between Kings Valley Drive and Blackfoot Road in Conifer on Wednesday evening. The two-car crash happened around 5:00 p.m. The investigation is ongoing. One person was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life helicopter. The other two that were injured were transported by to the hospital by ambulance. The accident happened on the northbound side of the road, but both sides were closed between Kings Valley Drive and Blackfoot Road late Wednesday.
