Brighton, CO (August 25, 2019) - A tractor-trailer truck and full sized passenger vehicle crashed early Sunday morning and resulted in one adult female dead and three other male adults seriously injured. The crash took place off Highway 7 between Yosemite and Quebec in Brighton, Colorado.The accident, according to Brighton Fire Rescue, took place around 1:40 a.m. Photos provided by Brighton Fire Department showed a white semi-truck with front end damage that came to rest on the shoulder of the highway 7. A full-size vehicle with major damage caused by the force of the collision and firefighters extricating the injured occupants. The Thornton Police Department said alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash.
